Who Can File Here?

  • The lawful owner of any digital asset or the lawful owner's agent may register the digital asset with the Secretary of State.
  • The applicant shall be either a resident of the state of Wyoming if the applicant is a natural person or incorporated or organized in the state of Wyoming if the applicant is a business entity.

What you will need to register a digital asset

  • You must be either the lawful owner or the lawful owner’s agent to register the digital asset and must acknowledge that no other person has a current, valid registration of the digital asset in Wyoming or in any other jurisdiction.
  • The lawful owner must have control of the digital asset at the time of application.
  • You need to be able to agree to having read and are compliant with the statutes relevant to registering a digital asset.
  • We accept Visa or MasterCard credit cards and Visa or MasterCard authorized debit cards.
  • The fee to register a digital asset is $500.00 plus an additional convenience fee of $5.00. The convenience fee covers the cost incurred by the Business Division in offering the online filing service to our customers. It covers credit card fees and other costs.
